The reader works fine. The reason to get this reader is for the Sim Card reader aspect. The software that Vivitar makes available is just OK. Ithe software doesn't allow for reading photo data off the sim card. It couldn't read/write even phone numbers from one of my sim cards from a new samsung. -- Sim card reader with just okay software
