I bought this item mainly as an SD-reader, and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and simplicity. It works great and, as you can tell from the pictures, is small and sleek as well. I have several readers but not one that would read sdhc cards. This one worked great. The only negative is that there is a cap that I usually misplace. Other drives that I have, the connection retracts, which I prefer. Otherwise, it works great with my 4GB and 8GB sdhc cards. -- SDHC CARD READER
