I use not only SD cards in my camera, but one in my aging Palm PDA, one in a Boss microBR guitar recorder, and a microSD in my phone. This device is magic, as it allows me to transfer files from any of these. My most recent success was traveling without a laptop, and using the Transcend to transfer files from my USB stick to my phone's microSD card so I could review them on the plane. I've come to rely on it and might yet buy another as a spare. -- Great little accessory

My Dell card reader in the computer is dying a horrible death. After much searching, I can only purchase a used/reconditioned card reader unit that has the same life expectancy as my old one and that is not very good. I need a reader that is more dependable than that.

I Purchased this portable unit as an alternative to the above. It came blister packed with minimal instruction, being plug-n-play compatible for Windows XP Home. The first time I connected it, the computer would not recognize the reader. The second time gave me an error message. After a reboot, reinserted the reader worked just fine. It reads SD, SDHC and Micro-SD cards without any problems.

The convenience of having this reader with SDHC capability available to me anywhere I go is great. -- Good card reader

this product is very useful to me, i bought this because my mac has no sdhc and micro sd card reader, i use it to transfer photos, videos etc, from my cellphone and digital camera.. great product! -- useful

this product works good have used others similar but they had attached a small cable which allowed you to plug it in with other things plugged in the other usb ports. This one you cannot do, not enough room. I have a 4port extension that I have to use with it. -- It works good but......
