The hardware itself is fine but the lack of any instructions or software is a bit of a burden in the packaging forcing you to go online and find your own software. -- lacking software

Works fine. Windows 7 even has built in support. Able to browse to Government sites without installing anything. -- Works as advertised

If your in the military and tired of changing your complicated passwords every few months to multiple .mil sites get this cac reader! -- CAC Reader

This is a great product for military personnel and CAC cards. However, the program from the military is awful and very complicated so be prepared to pull your hair out. -- Military
