User Reviews about SanDisk SDDR-88-A15 8-in-1 USB 2.0 Hi-speed Reader (Retail Package)

The worse part of having a card reader is it seems to become obsolete each year. None of the two Sandisk card readers I have support SDHC. -- Convenient
This is the only product that you will need if you use digital storage. The format is not a problem because it has all. The speed is much faster than attaching my digital camera. -- Has it all
Since this is a long discontinued product, I'm posting for the record only as I didn't see reference to this issue. I've used this reader for years with no complaints under XP SP1 and 2. However, it does not support Type H (high speed) xD picture cards. At least mine doesn't, and I was unable to find any trace of a fix. Everything else I've thrown at it, SmartMedia, SD and xD, worked fine. -- OK but not for xD Type H Cards
This card reader served me very well each time I needed it. Now I have a card reader built into my PC so I don't use it currently but it was a reliable piece of equipment each time I called upon it. -- SanDisk Card Reader
I owned the 6-in-1 version of this product. I got it almost 4 YEARS AGO (back when 2Mp digital cameras were the high standard). I've been using it ever since, until it was stolen last week.

I've used it to copy photos to my laptop on trips (even got some friends out of trouble when their cameras were full). I had no problem with CF, SD, MMC and MS.

Another nice feature is the dual plug, i.e. a dock with long USB cord to set the unit on your desk (shown in photo), and a 4inch USB cord that fits nicely into my camera bad, alongside the compact reader.

It's a no-brainer: I'm definitely going to buy this again. -- So good, buying another one!
